The flowering Helleborus plants from the Winter Princess collection are all from tissue culture so species are virus-free. From tissue culture plant to flowering Helleborus plant takes about 2 to 2.5 years on average.

The plants are first bred in greenhouses and then bred in outdoor fields in the 2^nd year. This gives us beautiful, hardened-off Helleborus plants.

The varieties in the Winter Princess collection were chosen after rigorous selection work and trials.

Growing Helleborus requires day and night attention at the nursery, which we love to do. Once in the flower garden, it is a rewarding and easy plant to care for.
